Synthetic direct thermal labels combine the convenience of direct thermal printing with a film-based construction. Depending on the selected grade, they offer improved resistance to moisture and tearing compared with standard direct thermal paper.

They are useful where labels face condensation, frequent handling or damp conditions. Although the material is more durable, the printed image remains heat sensitive, so the grade must be matched to the intended environment.

Typical applications: Chilled-product identification, logistics labels, mobile printing and operational labels exposed to moisture.
